Russian Forces Lost Ka-52 'Alligator' Helicopter
Russian forces suffered losses due to the downing of the reconnaissance and strike helicopter Ka-52 'Alligator'. This was reported by several Russian propaganda Telegram channels, as reported by 'Glavkom'.
So far, there has been no official confirmation of this information from the Russian Ministry of Defense or from reports from the firing position.
Explanation from Russian Propagandists
According to Russian propagandists, the loss of the helicopter was not related to 'fire impact', but the details of the incident remain unknown.
Ka-52 'Alligator' is a new generation reconnaissance and strike helicopter developed based on the Ka-50 'Black Shark'. Its main purpose is to defeat armored and unarmored vehicles, personnel, and air targets, as well as conduct reconnaissance, target designation, and coordination of actions of other helicopters.
The Ka-52 is armed with a 30 mm cannon, unguided rockets, guided anti-tank missiles, and air-to-air missiles. This helicopter features a modern targeting and navigation complex 'Argument-52', a defense system 'Vitebsk', an armored cockpit, and a crew ejection system, which is rarely found in helicopters. Currently, the Ka-52 is used by Russia as a universal combat vehicle to support ground troops and naval infantry.
We remind that on the night of October 27, special operations forces successfully struck at logistics facilities of the Russian army in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region. Also, 'Aeroflot' warned about an increase in the cost of air tickets in Russia for the first half of 2025, which may affect passenger budgets in the future.
Reports of the downing of the Russian helicopter Ka-52 'Alligator' and the reconnaissance-strike nature of this helicopter indicate active hostilities in the territory where both sides of the conflict operate. Any loss of military equipment may influence the course of combat operations, making such events important for analysis and strategic planning.
