In the night of October 29, Russian drones launched an attack on Ukraine, using 126 strike drones of the Shahed type, 'Gerber' and other models. The defense against aerial attacks was provided by aviation, anti-aircraft troops, radiation, chemical and biological defense units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the armed forces. This information was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as reported by 'Glavkom'.
According to preliminary data, by the morning of October 29, Ukrainian air defense destroyed or disabled 93 enemy drones of the Shahed type, 'Gerber' and other drones in the northern and eastern parts of the country. A total of 32 enemy drone strikes were recorded in 10 different locations.
Attacks on civilian infrastructure
It is important to recall that on the night of October 29, Russian terrorists attacked the civilian infrastructure of Odesa region, resulting in injuries to people and damage to energy and transport facilities.
Also, in the evening of October 28, enemy drones carried out an attack on Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region. The consequences were reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military-Civil Administration, Oleg Synegubov, and the regional police.
With brief highlights of the attacks on the national and civilian infrastructure of Ukraine, the threat posed by Russian drones and their assaults is emphasized, leaving little doubt about the danger these attacks bring.
