Russian troops have increased activity in the Sever direction in Ukraine, with a rise in artillery shelling and more frequent use of aviation. According to the spokesperson of the 11th Army Corps, Colonel Dmitry Zaporozhets, the number of shellings is 2-3 times higher than at the beginning of the year.
'The number of artillery shellings in the Sever direction has increased. If at the beginning of the year in January-February there were 50-60 shellings, now we have 150-180 shellings. This means the number of artillery has increased by 2-3 times,' Zaporozhets stated.
There is also a noticeable increase in the use of aviation, particularly 'Shaheds', near the settlement of Sloviansk. Russian actions are aimed at establishing a straight front line to improve logistics.
Attempts by the occupiers to improve their tactical position on the front
According to Zaporozhets, Russian troops are attempting to improve their tactics in the direction of the settlements of Orekhovo-Vasilyevka and Ivanov-Daryevka, in order to enhance logistics and supply for the troops in this section of the front.
Reports of increased activity of Russian troops in the Sever direction indicate an escalation of the situation in the region and heightened tensions in the conflict zone. There is an increase in the number of shellings and the use of aviation by the occupiers, which could have serious consequences for the civilian population and military units defending Ukrainian positions.
