Russian troops changed the offensive tactics on Konstantynivka
Russian troops in Konstantynivka are seeking new ways to victory after failures in Chasiv Yar and Toretsk. Now they are trying to capture small villages on the way to the city.
A spokesperson for the Joint Forces Operation 'Dnipro', Viktor Trehubov, stated this on television.
According to Trehubov, the Russians failed to implement their plans regarding Chasiv Yar and Toretsk, which complicated their actions regarding the offensive on Konstantynivka.
'These were failures that made it impossible for them to simply advance to Konstantynivka as they had hoped,' the spokesperson explained.
Manoeuvres and attempts to occupy small settlements
Now the Russian enemy is choosing different paths. 'They are trying to capture several small settlements on their way to the city. But our troops are already showing resistance,' Trehubov noted.
Regarding the situation around Konstantynivka and the village of Stupochky, the spokesperson said that the Russians are 'trying to manoeuvre' and 'direct their attention to small settlements' to establish a foothold for future actions.
'But so far, this does not look very successful for them,' he added.
