Ракетний обстріл Харкова: жінка отримала поранення внаслідок атаки російських військ.

Widespread Russian Assault with Ballistic Missiles

In a major overnight assault on April 3, Russian occupation forces launched ballistic missiles at Ukraine, striking the cities of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In Kharkiv, four strikes hit the Kyivskyi district, resulting in injuries to a 63-year-old woman who was subsequently hospitalized. Kharkiv regional governor Oleh Syniehubov confirmed that medical personnel are providing her with all necessary care. This attack is part of a concerning escalation in Russia's targeting of Ukrainian cities, which has intensified in recent weeks.

Russian forces also deployed attack drones against Kharkiv overnight. In the Novobavarskyi district, a drone struck a garden and damaged the windows of a private house. The Shevchenkivskyi and Saltivskyi districts were also targeted, in addition to the Kyivskyi district. This follows a day of heavy shelling on April 2, when the Russian army conducted 11 attacks on Kharkiv, all aimed at the Kyivskyi district. On that same day, occupiers used jet-powered 'Shahed' drones to strike the city for the first time, and later that night attacked again with drones, including a 'Molniya' combat drone hitting the Shevchenkivskyi district and damaging the ninth floor of an apartment building.

Deteriorating Situation in Eastern Ukraine

These events point to a rapidly deteriorating situation in eastern Ukraine, where Russian troops continue aggressive actions that endanger civilian lives. Authorities are still gathering information on the full scale of the destruction and the consequences of the attacks.

The intensification of the conflict, particularly in regions under fire, underscores the continuation of Russian aggression and the urgent need for enhanced protection for the civilian population. Amid constant shelling and the use of new weaponry like drones, the situation in these areas remains critical, demanding immediate action from local authorities and international partners to ensure safety and provide humanitarian aid.

The recent missile strikes are not isolated incidents; they come amid a series of aggressive drone attacks in Kharkiv, which have resulted in both casualties and injuries among civilians.
