Russian forces shelled the Nikopol region
According to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional administration, Serhiy Lysak, Russian forces shelled the Nikopol region using heavy artillery. The primary targets of the terrorists were the district center and the Pokrovsk community. The shelling began in the evening of October 11 and continued into the night of October 12.
During the attack in the Pavlohrad district, people heard explosions caused by drones. A vehicle fire was also recorded as a result of the attack on the Pokrovsk community in the Synelnykove area. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties, however, specialists are already studying the consequences of the shelling.
It should be noted that on October 11, around 08:30, the Russian terrorist army carried out drone strikes on the territory of the Synelnykove district in Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the attack, an 11-year-old child was injured, and civilian infrastructure facilities and residential buildings were damaged. In Nikopol, as a result of the hit by FPV drones, a woman was killed and a man was injured.
Events in the Nikopol region indicate the continuation of the aggression of the Russian military in eastern Ukraine, leading to violations of peaceful life for the local population and posing a threat to the lives and health of citizens.
