Russians have deported 52 residents of the village of Hrabovske from Sumy region to Russia

У мешканців села Грабівське з Сумщини забрали можливість залишитися вдома, переселивши їх до Росії.

Incident in Hrabovske

On December 20, Russian soldiers entered the village of Hrabovske in the Sumy region, where more than 50 local residents were forcibly taken to Russia. The Ukrainian Parliament's Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, reported that the deportation affected 52 people. It is known that there are no children among those deported.

The occupiers who entered Hrabovske attempted to advance further, however, in recent times, no attempts of their advancement deeper into Ukrainian territory have been recorded. According to information, about 100 Russian soldiers entered the village.

Situation in the region

Andrii Demchenko noted that within the Krasnopillia community, the enemy has not carried out active actions to attempt to move beyond the boundaries of the populated area of Hrabovske in recent days. The situation in the village remains tense, but so far, no new attempts by Russian troops to advance further are observed.

This incident is part of a broader picture of the conflict in Ukraine, where human rights violations and forced displacement of the population have become a common practice. The deportation of people without their consent raises serious concerns in the international community, as it may be regarded as a war crime. The situation in Hrabovske, where Russian troops are trying to consolidate, underscores the continuation of military actions and instability in the region.
