Intensive attacks and new tactics of the enemy
In the southern Slobozhansk direction, the enemy daily shelling the forward positions of the assault battalions with artillery, as well as carrying out massive FPV strikes from the air. This was reported by the commander of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade, Orest Pavlytsky, during the telemarathon.
According to the commander, the enemy strikes both at the front line and deep into the brigade's positions. They also try to gather an assault group, bring it closer to the front, and attack. But all these attempts are detected by reconnaissance and eliminated in time. Even with enemy camouflage, they can be detected – near Lyptsiv, soldiers actively use thermal ponchos.
'The activity of small infantry groups and mopeds, motorcycles, buggies is maintained. Heavy equipment is standing somewhere. We see it. We know where it is standing. From time to time they change their positions, but it is now used as some reserve, as a armored group, to repel some of our assault actions. Overall, they are currently using purely foot groups, motorcycles, buggies, and directly UAVs of various types', – emphasized the commander of the 92nd Assault Brigade.
Adaptation and new approaches
Such changes in the enemy's tactics indicate their adaptation to the conditions of combat operations and are aimed at reducing losses of heavy equipment, transferring the main burden to light mobile groups and unmanned means.
