FPV drones will be able to cover distances of up to 100 km - military

According to the head of the drone systems service of the 13th Brigade of the National Guard 'Charter' Igor Raykov, Russian FPV drones, which attack Ukraine, will soon be able to fly up to a distance of 100 km. Changes are expected within a few months. He also called for strengthening air defense in Ukrainian cities.

Raykov emphasized that Russian drones can reach large cities, launching from nearby territories, for example, from Belarus. He also pointed out the importance of preparing and increasing the defense of the country against such threats.

An expert showed a video where a drone connected with a fiber optic cable flies over Kramatorsk. He claims that this technology will become more popular very soon.

«Today this is an accident, it is not a system. But tomorrow, conditionally in three months, this will be the norm», Raykov noted.

Raykov also emphasized that the distance of 100 km does not hinder FPV drones, and called for strengthening air defense. He urged real measures to protect against potential threats.

Russia's drones attack not only military facilities

Specialist Sergey (Flash) Beskrestnov emphasized that the actions of Russian drones in Kramatorsk have changed the direction of Russian military tactics, using them for attacks on civilian objects. This endangers the civilian population and requires a review of the defense strategy.

As a result, the new technologies used by Russians with FPV drones pose new challenges for Ukrainian law enforcement and state agencies, calling into question the need to strengthen protection and improve air defense.
