Ukraine has improved the state program 'Scholar's Package'. Now, 5 thousand hryvnias can be spent not only on stationery and clothing but also on books. This new opportunity is available at retail outlets with certain MCC codes.
According to the Ministry of Social Policy, over 200 thousand families have applied for assistance, mostly through the Diia app. More than 168 thousand families have received payments, totaling 856 million hryvnias, which is 70% of the overall program budget.
Applications for assistance will be accepted until November 15, 2025, and funds must be used within 180 days after accrual, with payments possible both online and offline.
