The data on the number of forcibly taken children from Ukraine varies and ranges up to 200 thousand. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with French TV channels TF1 and LCI.

'Different numbers. Deportation of 50 thousand children has reached up to 200 thousand children whose names or surnames have been recorded, or other investigative data. Up to several million people: women, children, elderly people. In total, up to two million people have been deported, a large percentage of whom are children. Many children were taken hostage,' said Zelensky.

Russians blackmailed employees of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in Enerhodar by claiming they took their children on 'vacation' to camps in the Russian Federation, the president said.
