Poland is experiencing significant income growth in the business sector: in the first nine months of 2025, the average salary rose by 8.2% and reached 8750 zlotys in September. This is almost four times higher than the average salary in Ukraine, which is about 26,500 hryvnias. Such data was published by the analytical center Gremi Personal. This is reported by UNIAN.

Where salaries are growing the fastest

Analysts have named the sectors where employee incomes have increased the most. The leaders are:

  • Manufacturing of computers and electronics (+10.9%)

  • Food industry (+9.8%)

  • Transport equipment, including the defense sector (+9.2%)

  • Machine engineering (+9.1%)

  • Manufacturing of furniture (+8.9%).

Sectors with a large share of Ukrainian workers show slightly lower growth rates: logistics (+7.8%), HoReCa (+7.8%), construction (+7.6%), and retail (+7.6%). At the same time, in September compared to August, salaries in HoReCa and retail recorded a decrease of 0.4%.

What is happening with incomes in logistics

Logistics remains one of the highest-paying sectors in Poland. Despite a slight decrease in the average salary in September by 1.2%, it still amounts to 9029 zlotys (over 104 thousand UAH), which is almost equal to incomes in machine engineering - 9195 zlotys.

While in retail, the average salary is 6766 zlotys, and in HoReCa - 6548 zlotys, even a growth in logistics of 5.3% means an increase of 455 zlotys. This makes the sector attractive for foreigners, including Ukrainians.

What does this mean for Ukrainian workers

The Polish labor market continues to recover, however, competition in certain sectors is increasing. Logistics remains the most dynamic area (+4.7% employment over nine months). At the same time, in manufacturing and construction, competition is becoming tougher, which restrains salary growth.
