As of January 2026, the average salary in Ukraine has risen by 22% to 27,500 UAH. This positive trend persists despite a 6% reduction in the number of available job vacancies. Specifically, the average salary in the capital, Kyiv, is 32,500 UAH. In Lviv, it reaches 30,000 UAH, in Uzhhorod it is 27,100 UAH, and in Dnipro it is 27,000 UAH. Chernivtsi also shows positive momentum, with an average salary of 26,000 UAH.
Wage Growth by Profession
Among specific professions, the average salary for markers saw the largest increase, rising by 145%—from 10,000 UAH to 24,500 UAH. Top management receives an average salary of 52,500 UAH, while realtors earn 47,500 UAH. The average salary for teachers and educators stands at 21,000 UAH.
