Elimination of Russian Occupiers
Ukraine's defense forces have neutralized three Russian invaders: Konstantin Levin, Georgy Kamalov, and Chingiz Dodiev. Each had distinct backgrounds and athletic achievements, marking them as professional sportsmen before they joined the Russian Federation's armed forces.
Konstantin Levin
Born on July 5, 2002, in Khanty-Mansiysk, Konstantin Levin spent about seven years in biathlon. He was a member of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra team and earned the title of Candidate Master of Sports. In 2019, he won silver in the cross-relay at the Russian Summer Biathlon Championship for youth aged 18-19. In March 2025, he signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense and served as a scout in a separate special purpose brigade of the GRU Airborne Forces. Levin was killed on August 20, 2025, in the Donetsk region. His farewell ceremony took place in late December 2025.
Georgy Kamalov
Georgy Kamalov, 46, also fell to Ukrainian forces. He played for the Era Vladivostok team from 2003 to 2011, then ended his playing career due to injury and moved into coaching. In recent years, Kamalov worked with the football club Anri, leading it to compete in the Russian Cup.
Chingiz Dodiev
Another neutralized Russian invader was Chingiz Dodiev, born on December 1, 1993, in the village of Baraghan, Kurumkan District, Republic of Buryatia. Dodiev held the rank of Master of Sports in hand-to-hand combat and Candidate Master of Sports in army hand-to-hand combat. He was also a Candidate Master of Sports in universal karate Ukado/Kempo and held a black belt, 2nd dan, in self-defense. Dodiev was a three-time champion of the Russian Cup in universal karate Ukado/Kempo, a two-time champion of the Northwest in hand-to-hand combat among law enforcement agencies, a three-time medalist of the Trans-Baikal Territory in army hand-to-hand combat, and a medalist of the Republic of Buryatia in combat sambo.
The elimination of these three occupiers occurred amid the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, which continues to claim lives of both military personnel and civilians. This event highlights not only military operations but also the personal stories of those involved in the conflict.
