Ukrainian Special Operations Forces Conduct Strategic Strikes
In a coordinated series of attacks, Ukraine's Special Operations Forces (SSO) have successfully targeted and destroyed four Russian radar installations in the temporarily occupied Crimea and a command post in the Donetsk region. The strikes, carried out by the Middle-strike unit, represent a significant blow to Russian military infrastructure in these areas. These operations are part of Ukraine's ongoing strategy to degrade enemy command and control capabilities.
Radar Installations and Command Post Neutralized
Specific targets included the 5N84A 'Oborona-14' and 'Nebo-U' radar systems near Yevpatoria, Crimea, along with two other radars concealed in specialized shelters. In a separate action, a key element of a Russian naval infantry brigade's command post was struck in the village of Zakhativka, Donetsk Oblast. The destruction of these assets can severely hinder Russian air defense and situational awareness in the region.
Military experts note that the 'radar-transparent dome allows the antenna to rotate in any direction, concealing its orientation from visual detection.'
The SSO press service emphasized that 'Special Operations Forces continue to carry out asymmetric actions aimed at the strategic exhaustion of the enemy's ability to wage war against Ukraine.'
This operation is part of broader Ukrainian efforts to dismantle enemy military infrastructure and enhance the combat effectiveness of its armed forces. Such missions demonstrate the adaptability and precision of Ukrainian forces in planning and executing complex operations against a larger adversary. The successful strikes underscore Ukraine's capacity to project force deep into occupied territories, challenging Russian control and logistics.
