Assistance for the Shelupets Family

After being forced to relocate from the Chuhuiv community in the Kharkiv region to Fastiv in the Kyiv region due to the war, the Shelupets family has received a generator to power their home. The family cares for nine orphaned children, five of whom have severe 'Group A' disabilities. This vital support was facilitated by the Children and Family Service of the Kyiv region and Ukraine's Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity, highlighting a critical need for many displaced Ukrainians.

Ongoing Challenges and Needs

The children with 'Group A' disabilities require constant care, specialized living conditions, and an uninterrupted supply of life's necessities. The generator will help partially maintain the household's functionality during prolonged power outages, a crucial aid for a family confronting numerous challenges in their new circumstances.

The Shelupets family continues to adapt to their new life with support from state authorities. Their story exemplifies how government agencies are working to assist families who find themselves in difficult situations because of the war.

This initiative reflects the state's efforts to provide aid to vulnerable segments of the population facing severe hardship due to war and natural disasters.

A reliable power supply is critically important for families with disabled children, ensuring not only comfort but also safety in unstable conditions. Such support measures can be a significant step in rebuilding trust in state institutions and improving the quality of life for those who need it most.
