Scandal in 'Servant of the People': MP denied entry to Zelensky due to refusal to surrender phone
MP Igor Kryvosheev was unable to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky due to his refusal to surrender his mobile phone. The incident occurred on November 20, when Kryvosheev reported the situation on social media, stating:
“I came to meet with the President. They asked me to surrender my mobile phone. I said I would not surrender my mobile phone. They did not let me in.”
Olexiy Honcharenko confirmed that phones are indeed confiscated at the entrance during meetings with 'Servant of the People'. This has caused outrage among some faction members, as the restrictions on mobile device usage have become a topic of discussion.
Internal Conflicts and Their Consequences
Meanwhile, Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported the failure of Andriy Yermak's attempts to secure the removal of faction leader Davyd Arakhamia. According to Zheleznyak, there were not enough votes to support this decision, and the faction realized that even 10% of votes would not be available for it.
“Yermak's plan to force the faction to remove Davyd Arakhamia today has failed,”he noted.
This situation has raised concerns among lawmakers, who believe that further restrictions on the freedom of discussions could lead to serious consequences for the work of the faction. Igor Kryvosheev emphasized: “Zelensky needs to understand - this is it. The end. It cannot go on like this,” pointing to the tension in relationships within the party.
This incident reflects internal conflicts within the 'Servant of the People' party, which may affect its stability and decision-making capacity. Restrictions on mobile device usage during meetings raise concerns among lawmakers, who believe this may limit the openness of discussions and reduce the effectiveness of the faction's work. Kryvosheev's refusal to surrender his phone may indicate growing dissatisfaction among lawmakers, which requires the party leadership's attention.
