Viktor Oliinyk is a man who has been working in the migration service for over 19 years. His colleagues consider him a responsible leader, always ready to help in difficult situations. But this is not his only calling. Outside of work hours, Viktor volunteers for the Ukrainian mission 'Green Corridor', which assists wounded soldiers and their families.
Oliinyk believes that each of us is fighting on our own front. For some, it’s combat operations, and for him - providing help and support to others. He shares his impressions of volunteering: 'Every time I go to the combat zone, I realize that my help can be decisive for someone who has lost everything.'
'I remember his smile, trembling hands, a brief 'thank you', and a long silence when nothing more needed to be said.'
Recently, Viktor handed over an electric tricycle to a soldier who lost both legs in an explosion. Even during working hours, he remains the same dedicated and helpful leader, always ready to do everything possible for others, regardless of his own efforts and fatigue.
Viktor's motto is simple yet grand: to help and serve people in any circumstances, without expecting a reward.
This world needs many more people like Viktor Oliinyk, who are ready to serve and lend a helping hand even in the hardest moments. His example and dedication show that the willingness to help sincerely can change another person's life for the better.
