Russia conducts more than ten cyberattacks on Ukraine every day.

Since the beginning of the year, over 4,500 cyberattacks have been neutralized. This was reported by the head of the Cybersecurity Department of the Security Service of Ukraine, Ilya Vityuk, on the air of the 'We are Ukraine' television channel.

'We approached 2022 with eight years of experience in hybrid warfare behind us. The war in cyberspace had been ongoing even before that. By the time of the invasion, we were already prepared for the worst scenarios. The massive cyberattacks we repelled in January and February served as additional 'training' before the invasion,' he stated.

Energy, logistics, communications, military facilities, registries and databases of public authorities, and communication resources for conducting special information operations are of particular interest to the enemy.

'We monitor risks and threats in real-time 24/7. We know most of the hackers from Russian special services working against us by name. We are documenting their activities within the framework of relevant criminal cases. After Ukraine's victory, they will face a separate block of sessions at the international military tribunal and just punishment,' Vityuk summarized.

In 2020, almost 800 cyberattacks were recorded, in 2021 - 1,400. This year, the number of cyberattacks has increased more than threefold.

Russian hackers are attacking Ukraine's energy facilities. However, due to preparation and quick response, the enemy cannot completely cut off power. This was stated by the head of the Cybersecurity Department of the Security Service of Ukraine, Ilya Vityuk.

The Ukrainian cyber community has launched an active counteroffensive on the cyber front. The enemy is forced to spend serious resources on its defense.
