On December 17 at 5:00 PM in Ukraine, the final of the National Selection for Eurovision 2023 will start. It will be held live from a shelter.
Ukrainians together with a star jury will choose which of the 10 finalists will go to the 67th music competition in Liverpool, UK.

How to vote
The winner of the final of the National Selection for Eurovision 2023 will be determined by the jury and the audience through public voting: 50% from the jury and 50% from the audience. This is usually how it works.
This year, for the first time, public voting for the Eurovision representative will take place in the 'Diya' app. Every Ukrainian over 14 years old, whether in Ukraine or abroad, will be able to vote for their favorite during the final of the competition.
Composition of the jury
This time, the jury of the National Selection includes the leader of the band 'Antytila' Taras Topolia, the winner of Eurovision 2016 Jamala, and the lead singer of the rock band The HARDKISS Yulia Sanina.
The jury was first chosen by Ukrainians through a survey in the 'Diya' app.
Star performances
Even from the shelter, the National Selection will follow a traditional script: star performances by Jamala, Zlata Ognevich, Verka Serduchka, and Dmytro Shurov (Pianoбой) will delight viewers live.

Hosts
The hosts of the singing show will be Go_A lead singer Kateryna Pavlenko, singer Zlata Ognevich, and the unchanging commentator of Eurovision Timur Miroshnychenko.
Bookmaker predictions
According to Ukrainian bookmakers, the winner of the selection will be Jerry Heil with the song WHEN GOD SHUT THE DOOR. The second place is given to the bandurist KRUTЬ.
The third place is shared between the Ternopil duet TVORCHI and the blogger, actress, and singer from Ivano-Frankivsk FIINKA.
Following them are Moisei, 2TONE, OY Sound System, and DEMCHUK. However, bookmakers do not believe in Angelina and Tember Blanche.
The order of the performers in the final of the National Selection was determined by a draw this time.

The grand final of Eurovision 2023 will take place at the Liverpool Arena, which is currently called MS Bank Arena Liverpool by the River Mersey on May 13, 2023.
It was previously announced that Ukraine would not be able to host Eurovision 2023. This decision was made by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) for security reasons. On July 27, it was officially confirmed that the competition would take place in the UK, but on behalf of Ukraine.
On May 14, the final of the international song contest Eurovision 2022 took place in Turin, Italy. This year, the winner was Ukraine, represented by the band Kalush Orchestra. They scored a total of 631 points: 192 from the jury and 439 from the audience.
The United Kingdom, represented by Sam Ryder, came in second with 466 points. Spain, represented by singer Chanel, took third place with 459 points.
