Debate Over the Cost of Looking Good

Singer SoloKha has publicly backed Zlata Ognevich in a heated discussion about whether beauty requires a financial investment. In her remarks, SoloKha stressed that maintaining one’s appearance after turning 30 truly demands significant money. She stated:

'I’m definitely on Zlata Ognevich’s side, because she spoke the truth. It’s genuinely very expensive to take care of yourself. No matter what massages we do or cucumber masks we put on—unfortunately, it doesn’t work. After 30, it just doesn’t work.' SoloKha

The controversy started after Ognevich told Yevgenia Korshyk in an interview that self-care requires resources, including mesotherapy, exercise, and high-quality cosmetics. SoloKha added that other famous singers, such as Tina Karol and Kateryna Osadcha, likely also undergo cosmetic procedures. She emphasized:

'I think the ladies were just being a little dishonest. Because I’m sure they go to the cosmetologist like it’s a job. You can tell.' SoloKha

Conflicting Views on Beauty and Expenses

Tina Karol, however, rejected the idea that money determines beauty. She declared: 'Money doesn’t make a person beautiful. Motivation and the desire to become a better version of yourself—that’s what builds discipline and consistency. Your figure and skin are the result of your habits and lifestyle. The cause-and-effect relationship lies elsewhere!'

Kateryna Osadcha also shared her perspective, noting that many habits for preserving youth come at no cost, including:

  • Removing makeup before bed—also free of charge.

This exchange among three well-known figures continues to draw public attention to modern beauty standards and the costs tied to self-care. It touches not only on personal preferences but also on the social norms that shape ideas of attractiveness and dedication in the entertainment world. The debate may influence how women are perceived in society, highlighting the choice between natural beauty and aesthetic treatments.

As the discussion around beauty standards and financial commitments grows, it's interesting to note that Anna Salivanchuk recently highlighted the financial demands of maintaining beauty at 40. Her insights add another layer to the ongoing debate, suggesting that the challenges of self-care and appearance continue to evolve with age, further emphasizing the societal expectations placed on women.
