Alpha SBU Special Operations Center Achieves Top Combat Results
For the second month running, fighters from the SBU's Alpha Special Operations Center have posted the highest combat performance and drone efficiency among all Ukrainian defense forces. In April, the unit ranked first across multiple target categories, including air defense systems, radar stations, personnel, and enemy equipment.
Last month alone, Alpha operators neutralized over 10,000 Russian troops, with the total number of targets struck reaching 10,518. Among these:
- 7,649 targets were destroyed,
- 2,869 were damaged.
The strikes affected a wide range of equipment, including:
- 4,204 drones,
- 1,427 surveillance and communication devices,
- 1,556 fortifications and engineering structures,
- 1,138 light vehicles,
- 605 motorcycles,
- 287 trucks,
- 97 artillery systems and self-propelled guns,
- 69 armored vehicles, including 23 tanks,
- 29 air defense systems,
- 21 radar stations,
- 16 multiple rocket launchers,
- 2 aircraft – a Su-30 and a MiG-29.
Efficiency and Strategic Approach
Drones from the SBU Alpha Special Operations Center, together with other defense units, also targeted infrastructure at the Tuapse seaport and the Tuapse oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar region. Yevgeniy Khmara, a unit representative, commented:
'The effectiveness of SBU Alpha on the battlefield stems from a clear system, discipline, and the unit's continuous evolution. Our operators are always results-driven, where every action counts and every operation is seen through to completion. The enemy tries to overwhelm with numbers, but we rely on precision, rapid decision-making, and technological superiority.
