Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of those who became victims of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we will remember Yaroslav Huliuk.
In the village of Borova, Kyiv region, on September 22, 2025, warrior Yaroslav Huliuk was killed while defending Ukraine from the first days of the RF invasion. This is reported by 'Glavkom', citing the Fastiv City Council.
Yaroslav was born on February 24, 1972, in a Christian large family in the village of Borova. He was always sincere, devoted to his family and country. He studied at a local school, was hardworking and conscientious in fulfilling his duties, working in various fields.
«Yaroslav Huliuk had a good heart and always helped those in need, especially the elderly and lonely people. He was an honest man who always supported truth and justice and remained an example of kindness and care,» the Fastiv City Council noted.
After the invasion began, Yaroslav joined the territorial defense and voluntarily went to the front line on October 12, 2022. For almost two years he fought, but due to heart problems obtained in the conflict zone, he was demobilized and received a disability.
According to the city council, Yaroslav Huliuk was a support for his family, a warm friend to everyone around.
He is survived by his wife Natalia, children Yulia and Rostyslav, granddaughter Emilia, and relatives as well as the entire community. The hero was buried on September 24, 2025, at the Borova cemetery.
Today, 'Glavkom' joins in a moment of silence to honor the memory of all Ukrainians who gave their lives for their homeland. We remember all those who died due to Russian aggression and light candles in memory of their sacrifices.
