URC-2026 Conference in Gdańsk

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko will head the country's delegation at the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC-2026), scheduled for June 25-26 in the Polish city of Gdańsk. The delegation's primary goal is to secure agreements on defense capabilities and economic collaboration. This high-profile event, part of an ongoing international effort to support Ukraine's reconstruction, will bring together a diverse Ukrainian team comprising:

  • business representatives,
  • state-owned enterprise leaders,
  • community delegates,
  • government officials and parliament members.

Mission Objectives for the Ukrainian Team

The Ukrainian delegation is tasked with finalizing agreements that bolster the nation's defense resilience and expand economic partnerships. Several key deals with international partners are expected to be signed, particularly those aimed at strengthening the energy sector.

Yulia Svyrydenko: 'I will lead the Ukrainian delegation and oversee our efforts at URC-2026 in Gdańsk. Our team at the conference will include representatives from Ukrainian businesses, heads of state companies, community leaders from across the country, and, of course, government and parliamentary officials.'

She further emphasized: 'We anticipate signing several important agreements with international partners, especially regarding the reinforcement of our energy infrastructure. Ukraine is committed to constructive and mutually beneficial partnerships that advance shared European security, economic growth, and long-term prosperity.'

Notably, Marcin Przydacz, head of the International Policy Bureau for the Polish President, stated that Karol Nawrocki was not invited to the conference. Meanwhile, Polish government spokesperson Adam Szłapka denied allegations that the Polish President had been excluded from URC-2026.

As a result, the URC-2026 conference in Gdańsk is set to serve as a critical platform for forging new agreements that could shape Ukraine's future and its collaboration with global partners. Given the ongoing challenges facing the country, effective participation in this event may prove pivotal for attracting investments and strengthening international support—particularly crucial for regional security and economic stability.
