The government approved electricity tariffs until 2026: how much Ukrainians will pay

Уряд затвердив нові тарифи на електроенергію до 2026 року: що варто знати українцям про майбутні витрати.

The government of Ukraine has decided to maintain electricity tariffs for the population at the level of 4.32 hryvnias per kilowatt-hour until April 2026. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko.

Ukrainians will continue to pay 4.32 hryvnias per kilowatt-hour for electricity, with preferential conditions preserved for users of electric heating.

Different tariffs have also been defined for consumers with varying conditions of electricity use, for example, for those with a two-zone meter, the price at night will be 2.16 hryvnias per kilowatt-hour.

The state will reimburse electricity costs for residents of hazardous zones

The government has also decided to partially reimburse electricity payments for residents of hazardous zones. This compensation will apply to those who use benefits or subsidies and live in such areas.

Lonely citizens will be compensated 100 kWh per month, which equals 432 hryvnias. For families, the reimbursement amount can reach up to 1296 hryvnias (300 kWh).

Ukraine has decided to keep electricity tariffs at a constant level for the population and establish compensation for expenses for residents of hazardous zones. This decision will help maintain tariff stability and ease the financial burden on residents living in difficult conditions.
