New Centers of Power in Global Politics
In an interview with political scientist Yuriy Romanenko, analyst Andriy Dligach stated that large technology corporations today have more influence than the governments of many countries. He examined the approaches of various states — the USA, the EU, Israel, China, Russia, and Ukraine, pointing out the lack of a unified strategy in the latter. It is important for the Russian reader to understand that these processes change the global rules of the game, affecting all countries without exception.
Andriy Dligach, Doctor of Economic Sciences and head of the Advanter Group analytical center, noted that US policy cannot be reduced to the personality of Donald Trump, although the president's administration carries significant weight.
'The United States is not just Trump, although they are largely equal to the administration. And within this administration, there are many different forces. And why is Trump being 'pressed'? Not just because of his earnings — that’s secondary. The main thing is that he is influenced by many groups,'explained the expert.
Diversity of State Approaches
Dligach characterized the European Union as a 'weak player' where different influences collide.
'In the EU, there are national leaders, but it's hard to talk about a unified strategy,'he stressed. Speaking about Israel, the analyst pointed out that 'Netanyahu's strategy and the state's strategy also seem not to be equivalent.' China's strategy, reflecting the interests of Xi Jinping, is to a greater extent the strategy of the state itself, while 'Putin's strategy is equal to Russia's strategy.'
The expert emphasized that Ukraine currently lacks a clearly defined strategy; however, this opens up certain prospects: 'There is no Ukrainian strategy, for example. But this means there are chances.' He added that within US interests, there are two parallel lines:
- first — establishing global dominance;
- second — 'Monroe Doctrine 2.0': focusing on national interests, isolationism, and quickly restoring order where possible.
Dligach paid special attention to the tech sector, noting: 'Tech oligarchs are one of the influential forces. They are the most consolidated, have a clear plan for the future, and represent concentrated power that knows who and how to use.' He also commented on China's actions, which preemptively withdrew investments and invested in Saudi Arabia.
Andriy Dligach's position was voiced on a program titled 'Trump, Chaos, and Blood: Preconditions of the Ukrainian Empire,' available on YouTube.
The analyst's conclusions underscore the necessity of comprehending global geopolitical shifts and the growing role of the tech business, which is ousting traditional political institutions. Amid instability and a lack of a clear strategy, Ukraine, according to the expert, should search for opportunities arising from global transformation. This could help in developing new foreign and domestic political solutions. Such analytical assessments are useful for understanding the hidden mechanisms that define modern politics.
In the context of discussing the influence of major states on global politics, it is also worth paying attention to the differences in decision-making approaches between Trump and Putin. Analyzing these strategies can help better understand how individual leadership qualities influence global processes and shape new centers of power.
