PrivatBank clients whose payment cards have expired do not need to rush to replace them - the bank has automatically extended the validity of all cards during the martial law period. At the same time, in some cases, it is still advisable to reissue. This was reported by the Novyny.LIVE publication.
How Old PrivatBank Cards Work
Extended plastic cards remain valid, and owners can use them without restrictions:

pay for purchases in Ukraine and online;

withdraw cash from ATMs, terminals, and cash desks;

perform transactions in the application and on the "Privat24" portal.
However, abroad, old cards may not be accepted everywhere, so clients who travel often or go abroad are advised by the bank to replace their cards with new ones.
When to Reissue a Card

the client wishes to receive updated plastic;

the card is damaged or lost;

it is necessary to ensure stable operation of the card abroad.
How to Order a New Card
Despite the extension of the validity period, a new card can be ordered in several ways:

order a Digital card in "Privat24";

issue an instant card at the bank branch;
-
receive a card with delivery to Ukraine or abroad.
Online reissuing in "Privat24" looks simple: open the "Wallet" menu, select the required card, specify the branch, and click "Order Card". There is also a video instruction on the bank's website that helps to do it in a few minutes.
