Ukrainian singer and actress Antonina Matviyenko became a victim of beating by a taxi driver from Bolt. This was reported by the publications 'Glavkom' citing the singer's social media.

According to Matviyenko, the driver behaved contemptuously and rudely from the very beginning of the trip, and this situation escalated into 'absolute inadequacy in conversation'. The woman contacted law enforcement and filed a report with the police. However, cameras and witnesses of this incident were absent.

'On June 30, I became a victim of aggression from the taxi driver. From the very beginning of the trip, the driver behaved contemptuously: when I asked him to close the window due to a strong draft (I was sitting in the back passenger seat), he reacted with obvious rudeness. First ignoring my request, and later allowing himself inappropriate comments, he refused to cooperate. He claimed he wouldn't close the windows because it was hot outside and he was feeling warm. He ignored basic rules of politeness and concern for passenger comfort,' - explained the singer.

Updated at 9:06 AM. The police have already detained the taxi driver, who turned out to be a 63-year-old local resident. An investigation is underway under Part 1 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - beatings and torture.

Bolt Company in the Scandal

The Bolt company has found itself at the center of a scandal more than once. For example, in January of this year, a taxi driver refused to transport a soldier on crutches. Similar situations also occurred in Uzhgorod and Kyiv, where Bolt drivers refused to make trips under certain circumstances.

Ukrainian singer and actress Antonina Matviyenko became a victim of beating by a taxi driver from Bolt during the trip. The absence of cameras and witnesses complicated the investigation, however, the police detained the suspect. This event is just one of a series of scandalous incidents related to Bolt drivers, raising questions about the safety and professionalism of its workers.
