The alcohol industry of Ukraine, despite the war and economic challenges, remains one of the most resilient segments of the food industry. Large international and national companies not only maintain production but also continue to hire staff, offering competitive salaries and social guarantees.

Top-3 employers in the alcohol industry of Ukraine
1. AB InBev Efes Ukraine
One of the largest brewing producers in the country with strong international support. The company is known for stable salaries, a transparent bonus system, and clear labor safety standards. Employees are offered training, career growth, and social packages that meet European practices.
2. Carlsberg Ukraine
The Ukrainian subsidiary of the global group Carlsberg stands out for its strong corporate culture and investment in personnel. The company actively implements development programs, supports internal mobility of staff, and ensures stability even in difficult economic conditions.
3. Bayadera
One of the largest national producers of strong alcohol. Bayadera focuses on the development of the domestic market, expanding exports, and legalizing business. For employees, this means an increase in the number of vacancies, stable payments, and career growth opportunities in sales and production.
State of the industry
Despite the war, emigration, and economic difficulties, Ukrainian alcohol producers maintain their positions. Some companies focus on exports, while others are coming out of the shadows, increasing budget revenues.
According to the State Tax Service, for the first 9 months of 2025, the budget received 129.5 billion UAH in alcohol excise taxes — 33% more than last year, and 10.4 billion UAH more than planned. At the same time, despite rising prices, demand does not fall: Ukrainians' spending on alcohol during this period reached 125.55 billion UAH.
The average salary in the industry, according to Jooble, is currently about 55,600 UAH per month. The number of vacancies has also increased — approximately 500 positions are open, which is more than in 2024.
