Ukrainian Soft Cheese Brands: Top Five Rankings for 2026
1. Yagotynskyi
Yagotynskyi achieved first place with a score of 23.26 points. The brand offers a range of traditional soft cheeses, including Adygei, Brynza, and Lyubytelskyi. This selection allows you to choose a product for salads, snacks, or hot dishes. The practical advantage of the assortment lies in its various culinary applications: from slicing and adding to vegetables to fillings for homemade baked goods.
2. KOMO
KOMO received 12.12 points and the second position. Among its soft cheeses, there is InSalata, which the manufacturer describes as a product made in the Greek tradition using Ukrainian milk and European cultures. It is suitable for vegetable salads and cold appetizers. The advantage of the line also includes a lactose-free InSalata option, expanding the choice for customers who limit their lactose intake.
3. Voloshkove Pole
Voloshkove Pole took third place with 11.56 points. The brand's products are produced by the Cherkasy company Yuriy. The soft cheese category includes, among others, Adygei and Dnipro cheese. They can be used for everyday snacks, salads, and meal preparation. An advantage for customers is the ability to choose traditional types of soft cheese within a single dairy brand, distinguishing them from cottage cheese for syrniki.
4. Lukavytsia
Lukavytsia scored 9.21 points and ranked fourth. The brand belongs to the assortment of the Obukhiv Dairy Plant, which produces over 50 types of dairy products. Among them is soft Adygei cheese. Its practical advantage is versatility in home cooking: the product can be served alone, paired with vegetables, or used as a filling ingredient in hot dishes.
5. Ferma
Ferma rounds out the top five with a score of 9.12 points. The brand's cheese assortment includes Brynza and Mozzarella, allowing for product selection based on specific dishes. Brynza can be added to vegetable salads and savory fillings, while mozzarella can be used for baking according to the recommendations on the package. The advantage is the selection of different types of cheese, and it is advisable to compare their prices per kilogram, considering price differences for cheeses.
