On Sunday, August 3, an unexpected incident occurred on the northeastern coast of Italy in the Po River delta area – two tornadoes appeared almost simultaneously. According to media reports, the tornadoes formed due to strong winds and struck the area. The European Severe Weather Database reports that more than 500 waterspouts occur in the continent every year. Therefore, on the next day, August 4, Italian meteorologists issued a warning about windy weather, advising local residents to be prepared and to follow the weather forecast.

Against the backdrop of events in Italy, extreme weather conditions are raging across Europe, worrying emergency services and pushing them to their limits. Recently, wildfires have spread in Portugal, Greece, and Spain, while tornadoes have hit some tourist spots in Spain and Switzerland. According to Forbes, the abnormal heat in the region was also caused by air conditioning systems, which were used on a large scale. Furthermore, extremely high temperatures were recorded in southern Europe, leading to the introduction of work restrictions.

In conclusion: Europe is experiencing a series of extreme weather phenomena, leading to troubles and forced measures from authorities and rescue services. We remind you that, just as tornadoes occurred in the Po River delta area in Italy, unexpected natural events are also observed in other parts of Europe, requiring attention and certain measures to prevent negative consequences.
