The suspect detained in the Czech Republic for the murder of a Ukrainian woman
The body of 22-year-old Ukrainian Andriana Ofrim was found in the Czech Republic, who had been missing since November 21. The girl was found dead in the town of Olesna. Currently, the police are holding a 33-year-old compatriot who has admitted his guilt in the murder.
The reason for the murder and the detention of the suspect
According to law enforcement officials, the tragedy was caused by financial conflicts between the suspect and the Ukrainian woman. The man promised to return the money to the girl, which she received as an advance at her previous workplace, but decided to take her life instead.
Extensive investigation and public reaction
Lokash Richter, head of the 1st department of the General Crime Department, reported that the investigation was extensive and involved the work of police officers, dog handlers, and divers. It is worth mentioning that a similar tragedy happened to the Ukrainian Irina Zarutska in the USA, where a suspect in the murder was also detained.
“Thanks to the cooperation of law enforcement agencies, we were able to identify the person responsible for this terrible criminal case,” - Lokash Richter.
It is also worth noting that an incident occurred in Dublin where a 17-year-old Ukrainian teenager died due to an attack. Law enforcement officials are already conducting an investigation into this event.
