More than 100 dinosaur eggs, estimated to be around 72 million years old, have been uncovered in France. Roughly 5% of these eggs remain intact, while the others lack embryos. Each egg is about the size of a soccer ball, and the adult dinosaurs could have reached lengths of up to 40 meters and weighed approximately 90 tons.
Alan Cabut, one of the researchers, stated: 'At first, we only found a destroyed nest built from tree roots. But after digging a bit deeper, we uncovered rows of eggs.'
