The head of the Kherson Regional Military-Civil Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported that at a meeting in the regional office of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, the issue of surveying destroyed housing using remote methods was discussed.
'Due to the location of most destroyed objects in the zone of active hostilities, their examination becomes impossible due to enemy attacks. Therefore, necessary confirmations can be obtained through remote surveys using drones and other means, however, in some communities, this is also impossible due to constant drone dangers. Thus, it was decided to raise this issue at the state Congress and propose to the Ministry of Development to formulate surveying methods using unmanned aerial vehicles and remote sensing means, taking into account the experience of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and local military administrations,' he noted.
Assistance to the victims
Among the main topics of this Congress was the organization of quality assistance to people whose health or housing has been affected by enemy shelling. Attention was also paid to the temporary resettlement of evacuated residents of the region, the payment of various types of assistance and their accessibility, and the mechanisms for compensating the cost of restoring damaged or destroyed housing.
It was separately emphasized the necessity of resuming the work of mobile pharmacy points in the Kherson and Berislav districts to ensure the population has access to medicines and medical supplies.
In the regional office of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, the issues of surveying destructive housing in the combat zone using drones and other means and providing assistance to those affected by enemy shelling in the military conflict were discussed.
