In Kyiv, a group of people who sold drugs such as cocaine and MDMA were sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 9 to 10 years. The court issued the verdict based on the evidential proofs presented by the city's prosecutor.
According to the prosecutor's office, the organizer formed a criminal group for the purpose of distributing drugs in Kyiv, including cocaine and MDMA. This group packaged and sold the obtained drugs, while the organizer managed the financial operations.
'From January to November 2023, we actively engaged in the distribution of cocaine and MDMA, distributing them among the group members,' said the prosecutor.
The organizer received a 10-year prison sentence with asset forfeiture, while three other participants were sentenced to 9 years with asset forfeiture. Another group member was sentenced to 9 years and 6 months in prison with asset forfeiture.
To combat drug trafficking in Kyiv, authorities are taking firm measures and supporting effective justice.
