Ukraine faced another large-scale nighttime attack from the Russian Federation, involving 13 missiles—8 of which were ballistic—along with 151 drones. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported the aftermath, noting that in Kyiv, two people were killed and five wounded, including one child.

The capital suffered severe damage, with a high-rise residential building, warehouses, and vehicles hit. According to Zelenskyy, this marked the sixth ballistic strike on Kyiv in July alone.

Beyond Kyiv, attacks also targeted the Kharkiv region, where four people were injured. Drones and aerial bombs were used there, damaging:

  • residential buildings;
  • a cinema;
  • tennis courts.

In Sumy, a park and a tractor brigade were hit, raising concerns among local residents.

Zaporizhzhia also reported damage to apartment buildings. Additionally, energy infrastructure was affected in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, and Donetsk regions. Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated:

Amid ongoing attacks, it is critical to ensure adequate protection for civilians and critical infrastructure, while also stepping up international support to bolster Ukraine's defensive capacity.
