Traffic Restrictions in Kyiv’s Pechersk District

From June 22 to July 15, vehicle traffic on Lesya Ukrainka Boulevard in the Pechersk district of Kyiv will be partially restricted. This is due to scheduled work on installing road barriers. The repairs will take place daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The affected section runs from the Pecherska metro station to the Pechersk overpass. Drivers will not be able to use the far-left lanes in both directions, which may lead to congestion and difficulties in this area.

Additional Traffic Restrictions

In addition, traffic restrictions continue on the Borshchahivka route, where work on the overpass at the intersection of Kiltseva Road and Lesya Kurbas Avenue will last until July 5. Also in Kyiv, a major renovation of Mіska Street, which began in March, is ongoing, with over 600 meters of new storm drainage already installed.

Furthermore, pedestrian access on the bridge at the intersection of Beresteiskyi Avenue and Kiltseva Road will be limited until September 15. These measures aim to improve the capital’s road infrastructure and ensure traffic safety. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to plan their routes with these restrictions in mind.

The traffic restrictions in the capital are part of large-scale efforts to modernize and enhance road infrastructure, ultimately intended to increase road safety.

While these measures may cause temporary inconvenience for drivers and pedestrians, they are necessary to ensure comfortable and safe travel around the city in the future.

In addition to the ongoing restrictions on Lesya Ukrainka Boulevard, there are also significant changes affecting access at one of the city's key transit points. A partial closure is scheduled at the Metro Bridge entry point, which may further impact traffic flow in the area. Commuters are encouraged to stay informed about these developments to plan their journeys effectively.
