Kyiv sets up help hubs after July 2 strike

Following a nighttime assault on July 2, Kyiv has established emergency assistance centers for injured residents and those whose homes were damaged. According to the Kyiv City State Administration’s press service, the Russian attack affected 28 locations, with 11 confirmed dead and over 30 wounded.

Locations of aid centers

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, support is available at:

  • 14 Oleksandr Dovzhenko Street (preschool education facility No. 112, phone 050-678-97-42)
  • 86 Beresteiskyi Avenue (school No. 73, grades I-III, phone 050-380-02-45)

The district also operates the Department of Social and Veterans Policy at 5 Beresteiskyi Avenue (phone (044) 236-81-14) and Administrative Service Centers at 24 B. Khmelnytskoho Street and 26/4 Taras Shevchenko Boulevard. Social managers in the Shevchenkivskyi district can be reached at 075-617-53-11 and 075-617-53-12. A 24-hour emergency service is available at 075-617-53-10.

In the Holosiivskyi district, the center is located at 12 Holosiivska Street in Lyceum No. 241, open from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. A mobile aid station is operating near damaged buildings. Social managers in this district are accessible at 095-494-69-31 and 095-494-69-67.

In the Darnytskyi district, help hubs are functioning at 27-A Novodarnytska Street and 23 Yalynkova Street. In the Obolonskyi district, consultations are available by calling 050-268-03-24.

It should be noted that on the night of July 2, the Russian occupation army attacked Kyiv using drones, ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as hypersonic Zircon missiles, striking residential buildings and civilian infrastructure.
