In other news, a 1.5 kg pack of salt from the state enterprise "Artemsil" has appeared for sale on the OLX platform at a price of 10,000 UAH. This salt is produced in Soledar, but production has been halted due to Russian occupation and ongoing hostilities.

It is worth noting that in May, Ukraine's annual inflation rate slowed to 8.2%. Compared to April, consumer prices in May rose by 0.9%. Core inflation in May stood at 0.7% month-on-month and 7.9% year-on-year.

The seasonal fairs in Kyiv provide an opportunity for locals and tourists to discover products from regional producers, which can help boost the local economy. Such events also stimulate consumer demand, a key factor in accelerating the country's economic recovery after recent crises.

At the same time, rising prices for certain goods, such as salt, raise concerns about inflationary trends in Ukraine. The halt in production due to hostilities and occupation affects product availability on the market, potentially complicating the situation for consumers in the near future.

As the seasonal fairs in Kyiv begin, it's a great opportunity to recall the recent markets held on May 30 and 31. These events not only showcased local crafts but also offered a unique selection of products.
