Величезні квіткові композиції та розквітлий тюльпановий дерев у серці Києва.

New Landscape Design Features in Kyiv

Three massive structures decorated with surfinia flowers have been installed in Kyiv's Peremoha Park. These new landscape design elements were created by the city's green construction workers. The announcement was made by the Dnipro District municipal enterprise responsible for maintaining green spaces (KP UZN). Park visitors are urged to take care of the plants by staying off the grass and refraining from picking the flowers.

Tulip Tree and Ecosystem Preservation

Meanwhile, on Amvrosii Buchma Boulevard in Kyiv's Dnipro District, a tulip tree (also known as Liriodendron) is in full bloom. This tree is a close relative of the magnolia, and its ancestors were widespread across Eurasia during the Cretaceous period, around 100 million years ago. The tulip tree is drawing attention from both locals and visitors for its beauty and uniqueness.

Additionally, the city has increased the number of urban areas with restricted grass mowing to 119 locations. These zones now cover a total area of 251 hectares, reflecting municipal efforts to preserve green spaces and maintain ecological balance in the city.

The installation of new landscape design features and the expansion of limited-mowing zones highlight the growing attention city services are paying to Kyiv's environmental situation. This not only enhances the city's aesthetic appeal but also helps preserve biodiversity, which is crucial for the health of urban ecosystems. Engaging the public in plant care also demonstrates a commitment to involving residents in protecting the city's nature.

In addition to the stunning floral structures, another remarkable natural attraction is the blooming tulip tree, which has captured the interest of many in the city. This unique tree, with a history stretching back 100 million years, is not only a beautiful sight but also plays a crucial role in the urban ecosystem.
