On Saturday, December 14, the movement of public electric transport in Mykolaiv will be limited. Due to the difficult situation in the energy system, only trolleybuses with autonomous drive will be put on routes, and tram services will be temporarily suspended. This is reported by KP MMR 'Mykolaivelectrotrans'.

The communal enterprise 'Mykolaivelectrotrans' reported that they plan to use 38 trolleybuses equipped with an autonomous drive system for up to 20 kilometers to transport passengers. They will operate in the city from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and towards Matveevka until 9:00 PM.

The enterprise explained that the trams and trolleybuses of the 'Dnipro' brand will temporarily not be on the routes to reduce the load on the power grid and allow energy workers to conduct restoration work after a massive shelling by the RF.

KP 'Mykolaivelectrotrans' will also continue to provide residents with clean water. The stationary distribution point at Yevheniy Yeshchenko Street, 17, will operate from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM without breaks.

We remind you that during the night of December 13, Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv and the region. As a result of shelling, people were injured, critical and industrial infrastructure was damaged, and some areas were left without electricity. Due to prolonged outages in the city and region, about 200 points of resilience were opened.
