During a training flight before an airshow in the Polish city of Radom, a fighter jet F-16 crashed. The spokesman for the Polish government, Adam Szlapka, reported that the pilot died.
According to Polish media, the fighter jet crashed on the runway at around 8:30 PM Kyiv time, damaging it. Due to the tragedy, the airshow that was supposed to take place this weekend in Radom has been canceled.
In California, near the naval airbase 'Lemoore', a fighter jet F-35 crashed, the plane belonged to the VF-125 fighter squadron, known as Rough Raiders. VF-125 is a fleet replacement squadron responsible for training pilots and crews. The aircraft was an F-35C, one of three variants of the F-35 Lightning II designed for use on American aircraft carriers.
