On the night of November 6, several explosions occurred in the Russian city of Volgograd, which, according to local public sources, are the result of a drone attack on the oil refinery of PJSC 'Lukoil', located in the Krasnoarmeysky district of the city, reports 'Glavkom'.
Residents of Volgograd are actively discussing the event in city chats, claiming that drones successfully hit the refinery's facilities, causing significant damage. According to their data, although the plant is at a certain distance from the residential areas of the city, the attack was quite powerful and caused serious destruction.
The authorities of Volgograd and the region have not yet officially commented on the situation, but local residents report significant explosions and noticeable shocks.
Previous attacks on the oil refinery
In September of this year, the PJSC 'Lukoil' oil refinery in Russian Volgograd stopped loading oil. At that time, the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces confirmed the hit.
It is important to properly assess the situation and the current state of important state property and fundamentally ensure that those responsible are held accountable.
