The Delta Airlines plane safely landed in Los Angeles after an engine fire


In the United States, a passenger plane from Delta Airlines returned to Los Angeles airport due to an engine fire. Despite the flames engulfing the left engine, the plane managed to land safely on the airport runway.


The Boeing 767-400, which was on a flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta, narrowly avoided disaster due to a fire that broke out in one of the engines during takeoff.


“Flight 446 of Delta Airlines returned to Los Angeles shortly after takeoff due to signs of a problem with the left engine,” commented a company representative on the incident.

The situation with the plane was recorded on video, which was published on the LA Flights channel on YouTube. Despite the burning engine, the pilots managed to execute a maneuver and successfully land the plane.


Last week, other incidents in aviation also occurred, particularly at the airports in London and Palma de Mallorca, where aviation incidents with casualties took place.
