«The small plane was following a patient to a nearby hospital when the accident occurred,» police said. The incident occurred around 12:40 near the town of Chinle, Arizona.
According to the National Transportation Safety Board, the crashed plane was a Beechcraft 300 model.
«NTSB investigators have already arrived at the scene and are expected to be there this evening. Upon arrival, the investigators will begin documenting the scene and inspecting the plane. The plane will then be transported to a safe location for further evaluation,» NTSB spokesperson Sarah Taylor Sulik reported.
