Search and rescue operations in Ternopil after the rocket strike
After rockets from the Russian Federation hit a building in Ternopil, rescuers are conducting search and rescue operations at the scene. According to the State Emergency Service, over 230 rescuers and 50 units of equipment are involved in the work.
As of the morning of November 20, no individuals have been pulled from the rubble. A total of 26 people have died, including three children, and 93 have been injured, among whom are 18 children. The search for individuals whose whereabouts remain unknown continues.

The high fragmentation of structures and extensive damage complicate the work of rescuers. For isolated areas that vehicles cannot reach, manual methods need to be employed.

The Russian Federation carried out a rocket strike on Ternopil using strategic aviation aircraft.
