Life After the Show: A New Romance
Roughly a month after the finale of the reality series, Magda Dymyd met a man on a Christian dating website. Initially unaware of her TV appearance, he later discovered her online profile. Despite an early mutual attraction, the couple parted ways due to his jealousy toward her coach, Oleksii Novikov.
Dymyd explained the split, stating that her partner grew envious of Novikov, a world-renowned strongman and the planet’s strongest person.
“He ended things because he was jealous of Oleksii,” she revealed. She added that her ex may have honestly admitted he wasn’t comfortable sharing her attention with other men.
About Coach Novikov
Despite speculation about a romantic link with Novikov, Dymyd firmly denied any such relationship, calling it purely platonic.
“We have a strictly friendly connection. He still coaches me: I send him reports on my weight and photos to track my progress,” she said. She further noted that she and Novikov are too different to be a couple, citing their 'different worldviews.'
This situation highlights the challenges people face when starting new relationships after appearing on a reality show. Magda Dymyd is clearly navigating the delicate balance between her personal life and professional ties—a struggle amplified in the social media era, where information spreads faster than its implications can be understood. The breakup over jealousy also raises questions about trust and a partner’s willingness to accept someone fully, including their professional and social connections.
The complexities of relationships after reality TV appearances are not uncommon, as seen in the recent breakup of Diana Zotova and footballer Mykola Kukharevych. Just as Magda Dymyd faced challenges with jealousy and trust, Zotova's experience sheds light on similar struggles faced by public figures in their romantic lives, emphasizing the need for understanding and communication.
