The summit between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin is tentatively scheduled for the end of next week, a senior White House official reported, referencing Sky News. The location of the meeting is still under discussion, with the possibility of holding it in the UAE, Hungary, Switzerland, or Rome.

According to the official's statement, further details and logistics remain uncertain and 'very fluid.' The exact date of the meeting has not yet been determined, and it is unclear whether Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be involved.

An administration representative stated that the Russians support a list of demands for a possible ceasefire, and Washington is now seeking support from Ukrainians and European allies.

The position of Ukraine remains unchanged. According to Sky News, Ukrainian officials previously stated their readiness to fight for their territories that were unlawfully annexed by Russia. This position contradicts Russian demands for territorial concessions.

Context of the negotiation information

According to Bloomberg, the US and Russia are currently working on an agreement to end the conflict in Ukraine that would solidify the Russian occupation of certain territories. The publication states that Putin demands Ukraine's renunciation of Eastern Donbas and Crimea, while the US has previously suggested recognizing Crimea as Russian as part of a peace deal.

In the negotiations between Trump and Putin, the details are still unclear, although the parties are actively discussing the possibility of holding the summit in different countries. Ukraine's position remains firm; it is ready to fight for the restoration of its annexed territories.
