Strike on Zaporizhzhia: number of injured has risen to 24, including a 17-year-old boy

On Tuesday, August 12, the number of injured as a result of the strike on the bus station in Zaporizhzhia, which Russia executed two days prior, has increased again. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov.



«The number of injured as a result of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia has increased to 24. Two days ago, the Russians struck the bus station building, and a medical institution, as well as residential and non-residential buildings, were also affected», – he said.


According to Fedorov, residents who were injured during the enemy attack have been seeking medical assistance for three consecutive days now. Today, a 17-year-old boy sought treatment at the medical facility.



Strike on the City


Recall that on August 10, the occupiers used guided aerial bombs to strike Zaporizhzhia in the evening. One of the strikes hit the bus station, causing damage to the building. Furthermore, the Russians also hit a university clinic. At the bus station, people were injured, suffering from mine-explosive injuries to their limbs, head, and abdominal cavity.



The number of injured had risen to 21 on Monday. At that time, a 44-year-old woman sought hospital treatment. Among the injured, one person is in serious condition. Doctors continue to assist the wounded, while municipal services are repairing roofs and windows.



As a result of the enemy strike on Zaporizhzhia, the number of injured who suffered injuries from explosions has increased. Medical institutions are providing assistance to the injured, while municipal services are repairing damaged buildings.
