According to the latest data, by the evening of August 18, the number of injured due to enemy shelling in Zaporizhzhia reached 30 people. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA Ivan Fedorov, noting that all those affected are receiving the necessary medical assistance.
According to him, as a result of the attack, 11 apartment buildings and 10 private houses were damaged or destroyed, along with other structures. This led to appeals to district administrations from another 70 people who reported damage to their homes.
«Search and rescue operations at the impact sites have already been completed. Utility workers continue to eliminate the consequences of the attack,» emphasized Fedorov.
Other attacks by Russian occupiers
It is important to note that on August 18, Russian occupiers also attacked Kharkiv and the Odesa region. In Kharkiv, they struck with a ballistic missile and drones, while in the Odesa region, they carried out drone attacks, which led to fires. Firefighters successfully extinguished the fire using the firefighting train «Ukrzaliznytsia».
As a result of enemy attacks in Zaporizhzhia, 30 people were injured. Attacks by Russian occupiers also occurred in Kharkiv and Odesa, leading to fires and damage.
